I have always set my XP theme set to its default Luna. I prefer not to change my theme using any type of Transformation packs because it makes the computer considerably low. I usually prefer themes that is designed for XP that doesn't need to patch my UXTheme.dll. Today I came across a theme which was originally designed for XP Media Center Edition. The theme has a glassy effect for the Taskbar and the cool glow type effect is most preferable to all people who doesn't want to slow down their computer but still want to have a good theme for their computer...
Below is a screenshot:
The theme as I said doesn't require any UXTheme.dll patches or hack. All you need to do is download the theme from Softpedia via this link.
To install the theme:
1). Download the file from the link provided and extract it.
2). Copy all the files extract to "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes"
3). Go to Display options from the Control Panel or by right clicking on the desktop and select the Royale theme.
4). Your theme will now be set.
