Selecting the BEST media player has always been really a tough job. We all need a IDEAL player which is really good, plays all the video and audio formats, without any annoyance. Even if all of these requirements are fulfilled by any player, we want it also to be a light-weight software which can startup fast in no time when ever we open a media file. These all features were fulfilled by the 'VLC Player', but there is one more Negative Point in VLC, that it doesnt have an attractive interface. Since the first release of VLC, there has not been changes regarding the interface. Its still the same old skin. Yes they provide different skins which we can download from their site and apply, but I dont recommend this because these skins make your VLC rather bulky!
But when I came across this KM Player which was first developed by a South Korean developer, I really liked it interface and its highly customizable, light-weight and a free player too! It also has a high video and audio support which forced me to change from VLC to KM Player ( yes, previously I used VLC Player).

One more feature that i really liked about KM Player is its highly customizable, especially its subtitle modify features which enable us modify its syncing, position of the subs, font size, sub effects, editing, rotation etc.(there are a lot more options!).

They also provide different skin for you KM player in their forum, but i dont think you will need that because the orig. skin is itself pretty good.
One of the main reason why this media player is not that known by people is because it doesn't have a good English website, but yes they do have an English Forum.
